West Palm Beach, FL (October 7, 2020) – Around 8 p.m. on Tuesday night, October 6, a fatal pedestrian accident involving a child took place in West Palm Beach.
Few details have been released regarding the accident but police confirmed that the accident took place in a church parking lot. Police said that a 2-year-old child was walking in the parking lot when she was struck by a driver.
The child was rushed to the hospital by a family member but she tragically succumbed to her traumatic injuries.
Nobody else was injured as a result of the accident but those at the scene remained there and spoke with police. Traffic homicide investigators were at the scene until late at night.
Charges have not yet been filed but the investigation into the accident continues.
