Summerfield, FL – Man Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on CR-475

Summerfield, FL (June 13, 2020) – Around 8:50 p.m. on Thursday night, June 11, a man was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident on CR-475 in Summerfield.

The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that a 32-year-old man from Summerfield was driving his pickup headed north on the highway when he struck two adult men and a 9-year-old boy. The three were outside their vehicle and inspecting a flat tire.

One of the victims who was struck, a 31-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The other man suffered from serious injuries and the boy suffered from minor injuries.

A passenger in the vehicle, identified as a 34-year-old man from Summerfield, was not injured.

The investigation into the accident continues.
