Orlando, FL – Woman Killed in Fatal Crash on Rio Grande Ave

Orlando, FL – Two Injured in Car Crash at E Colonial Dr and Chuluota Rd

Orlando, FL (May 13, 2020) – Yesterday, May 12, a woman was killed in a fatal crash following a police chase in Orlando.

Officers spotted the vehicle, which was wanted in the area, around John Young Parkway and L.B. McLeod Road. Officers started to follow the vehicle but eventually stopped.

At some point, police confirmed that the vehicle drove onto Rio Grande Avenue, which is when the suspects smashed into another vehicle. A 70-year-old woman was in the vehicle.

The woman, whose name has not yet been released, was taken to an area hospital and died while there. The two suspects were also treated at a hospital and charges were brought against them.

The investigation into the collision is currently ongoing.
