Orlando, FL (November 7, 2020) – Around 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, a serious car accident occurred at an intersection in Orlando.

Though few details have been released regarding the circumstances of the accident, police said that the accident occurred at the intersection of Town Center Boulevard and Southmeadow Drive. The accident took place when multiple vehicles collided with one another in the area.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. Fire crews had to extricate one or more entrapped individuals from the involved vehicles. Paramedics transported five patients to local hospitals. One was identified as a child, one had serious injuries, and the other had traumatic and severe injuries. The other two are expected to recover.

Due to the severity and force of the collision, gas leaked from the involved vehicles. Police urged those traveling in the area to avoid the intersection for some time.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
