Orlando, FL (September 8, 2020) – Around 12:39 a.m. this morning, September 8, a man was killed in a bicycle crash that took place in Orlando.
According to Orlando Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Kirkman Road and Conroy Road when a vehicle struck the bicyclist, who was allegedly traveling in the northbound lane of Kirkman Road at the intersection. The bicyclist was then knocked onto the ground where he was struck by a second vehicle.
The victim was identified as Isaias Arista Lopez, who was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by the Orlando Fire Department.
The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes for an extended period of time following the crash.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
