Orlando, FL – Hit-and-Run Accident at Lee Rd and Alloway St

Orlando, FL (August 14, 2020) – This afternoon, police were dispatched to assist at the scene of a hit-and-run accident in Orlando.

Though few details have been released regarding the accident, the crash allegedly took place around 2:35 p.m. when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Lee Road and Alloway Street. Police confirmed that one of the vehicles involved in the accident abruptly fled the scene without stopping.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. They assisted those with injuries who remained at the scene of the accident. The full extent of the injuries is not yet known but it is believed that one or more victims were hospitalized.

The roadway was quickly reopened by police and traffic resumed as normal following the collision.

No further details have been released but the investigation is currently ongoing.
