Orlando, FL (October 17, 2020) – Around 4:20 a.m. on Friday morning, October 16, a fatal motorcycle crash took place in Orlando.
The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Lake Pickett Road and Percival Road. The accident occurred between a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle.
After the collision, the driver of the passenger vehicle ran from the scene. She has since been identified as 22-year-old Kimberly Lijeron, who was booked on charges of the first-degree felony of leaving the scene of a fatal crash.
The unidentified 27-year-old female motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The roadway was closed down in numerous lanes following the collision.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
