11.6 Altamonte Springs, FL – Hit-and-Run Crash at Trailwood Dr Intersection

Orlando, FL (July 13, 2020) – This morning, a fatal hit-and-run crash took place at an intersection in Orlando.

According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of Hyer Avenue and Colonial Drive. The accident was so severe that one eastbound lane and all westbound lanes were closed down for a period of time.

Police confirmed that two vehicles collided and a small four-door sedan was last seen driving westbound in the area. It fled the scene of the crash.

One person in the other vehicle tragically died at the scene of the accident. Their identity has not yet been released.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
