Minneola, FL (July 23, 2020) – Around 8:15 p.m. last night, July 22, a man was killed in a fatal motorcycle crash at an intersection in Minneola.
The man, who was identified as a 23-year-old from Minneola, was headed north on his motorcycle at the intersection of US-27 and Apshuwa Road. A 47-year-old woman stopped her vehicle and was pulling out at the intersection.
The woman pulled into the intersection, which is when she struck the front of the motorcycle with the left side of her vehicle.
The Minneola man was ejected from his motorcycle and was taken to a local hospital with traumatic injuries. He later succumbed to these injuries.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released. Police continue their investigation into the accident.
