Daytona Beach, FL (May 10, 2020) – An auto collision Saturday afternoon claimed one victim’s life, according to police. At around 2:15 p.m., on May 9, authorities were called to the scene of an auto collision on Derbyshire Road.
Reports from police show that a 13-year-old male was traveling through the intersection of Derbyshire Road and Sixth Street on a white 2020 Suzuki RMZ 450 when his vehicle was struck by a black 2015 Toyota RAV4.
The teen was ejected from the dirt bike. Paramedics rushed the teen to Halifax Health Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
