Clermont, FL (November 21, 2020) – Around 6:17 p.m. on Saturday evening, November 21, a pedestrian accident with injuries took place in Clermont.
According to the Clermont Police Department, officials responded to the intersection of FL-50 and Grand Highway where they found a female lying in the middle of the road. They determined that she was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene.
The suspect car was described to officers as a passenger vehicle with front-end damage that was last seen headed east on FL-50.
The female pedestrian was flown to Orlando Regional Medical Center with critical injuries. Her current condition is not yet known.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
