Azalea Park, FL – Fatal Pedestrian Accident Involving Motorcycle on Colonial Dr

11.21 Clermont, FL – Pedestrian Accident at FL-50 and Grand Hwy Intersection

Azalea Park, FL (June 30, 2020) – Around 11 p.m. last night, June 29, a woman was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident in Azalea Park.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the collision took place on Colonial Drive near the area of Old Cheney Highway when a 64-year-old woman from Orlando was struck by a motorcyclist as she attempted to cross the street.

The 26-year-old male motorcyclist was driving west when he struck the woman, who was walking in an unknown direction at the time.

The woman was immediately transported to the hospital but tragically succumbed to her injuries while there.

The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries and remained at the scene of the accident.

FHP continues their investigation into the collision.
