Winter Park, FL (March 15, 2020) – This morning, the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident at a Winter Park intersection, 15 minutes from Orlando.
The accident allegedly took place at the intersection of Semoran Boulevard and Aloma Avenue. The pedestrian was attempting to cross the street when they were struck and killed by a passing vehicle.
The pedestrian has not yet been identified. Police confirmed that the driver who struck the pedestrian stayed at the scene but they are not yet facing charges.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
