Attorney Walker J. Smith IV

Attorney Walker J. Smith IV was born in Fairfax, Virginia but has lived practically his whole life in Florida. He attended the University of Central Florida (UCF), graduating in 2017 and earning his bachelor’s degree in political science, with a minor in writing and rhetoric. He spent a gap yar teaching children English in Shenzhen, China. Thereafter he returned to Florida and attended Law School at Florida State University (FSU) College of Law, where he graduated in 2021. He also worked as a Worker’s compensation and employment law paralegal for five years prior to and while attending law school at FSU. He graduated FSU as the two-term President of a professional development organization he founded, Lawyers Uniting to Communicate Knowledge, which held a series of events at FSU Law, called ‘Candid Conversation with the Court’ wherein multiple Florida Supreme Justices came to the college to discuss matters of importance to them and the legal profession as a whole, such as candor, professionalism, and ethics. He was admitted to the Florida bar in 2021.
