Titusville, FL –Two Killed in Fatal Three-Vehicle Accident on FL-407

Titusville, FL (September 29, 2020) – Around 8:20 p.m. on Monday night, September 28, two people were killed in a fatal accident in Titusville.

According to Florida Highway Patrol officials, the accident took place on FL-407, just south of I-95. At the time, a 27-year-old was driving a pickup truck and heading west on the highway when he crossed into the other lane of traffic for unknown reasons.

The pickup truck struck the front of a sedan being operated by a 66-year-old New Smyrna woman who had a 41-year-old female passenger from Texas in the passenger’s seat.

The accident left debris scattered all over the roadway and a third vehicle drove into it, becoming involved in the collision.

The two women in the sedan were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the pickup truck was seriously injured and flown to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision at this time.
