Titusville, FL (September 23, 2020) – Around 8 p.m. on Tuesday night, September 22, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident took place in Titusville.
Police responded to the scene where they found a pedestrian lying on the roadway at the intersection of Wager Avenue and Union Street. The victim, who has not yet been identified, was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Police and numerous other responders spoke with witnesses. They believe that the driver of the vehicle who struck the pedestrian was in a white four-door sedan with a sunroof. The driver allegedly fled southbound on Wager Avenue. There may have been two people inside the vehicle.
The roadway was closed down in the area for some time following the collision.
Titusville Police continue their investigation into the accident.
