Reddick, FL – Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Accident on I-75

Reddick, FL (June 10, 2020) – Around 3 a.m. yesterday morning, June 9, a fatal pedestrian accident took place in Reddick.

Marion County officials responded to the scene immediately, which took place in the northbound lanes of I-75. There, they found a male pedestrian who had been hit by a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 work truck that fled the scene of the accident.

Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that the pedestrian, known only as a man from Ormond Beach, tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash.

Police have still not been able to find the driver responsible for the accident but their investigation is currently ongoing.
