Osceola County, FL (August 16, 2020) – The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal two-car crash on U.S. 192 early Saturday morning. The crash reportedly happened in the eastbound lanes of the roadway around 3:20 a.m.
According to reports from the scene, a 28-year-old man from Davenport was traveling westbound on U.S. 192 near Crabgrass Road when, for unknown reasons, his car crossed the centerline of the roadway and collided head-on with another vehicle that was traveling eastbound. The 28-year-old man died at the crash scene. The other driver, a 21-year-old man from Orlando, and his 23-year-old male passenger were rushed to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. All three individuals were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. The victims have not been identified by authorities.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. There is no additional information available.
