Orlando, FL (August 22, 2020) – Early this afternoon, a hit-and-run crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Orlando.
Though few details have been released, it is believed that two vehicles collided at the intersection of East Colonial Drive and Pilgrim Street. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident after it took place. Police did not confirm if they were able to catch up with the responsible party.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. EMS crews assisted those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not yet fully known. The injured victims were hospitalized as a result.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time until police were able to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation is currently ongoing.
