Orlando, FL (August 9, 2020) – Around 11:26 a.m. this morning, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Orlando.
The accident, according to Orlando Police, happened at the intersection of Americana Boulevard and Texas Avenue. Police confirmed that the accident occurred when two vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with one another forcefully. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Numerous emergency responders were present at the scene of the accident including paramedics and fire crews. EMS crews assisted one or more victims with injuries, though the full extent of their injuries is not yet known. The victims were hospitalized.
Police confirmed that the intersection was blocked for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
