Ocala, FL (May 22, 2020) – Around 12:45 p.m. yesterday, May 21, a car crash involving a pickup truck took place at an intersection in Ocala.
Fire rescue officials responded to the scene immediately, which took place at the intersection of West Silver Springs Boulevard and North Pine Avenue, and allegedly had serious injuries.
The accident occurred when a passenger vehicle collided with a pickup truck for unknown reasons at the intersection. Fire officials had to remove a driver out of the sedan because they were trapped following the incident. The driver was immediately transported to a local hospital as a trauma alert but their condition is not yet known.
No other parties were injured as a result of the accident.
Police did not say if any charges were issued but their investigation is currently ongoing.
