10.17 Orlando, FL – Fatal Motorcycle Crash at Percival Rd Intersection

Mims, FL (April 4, 2020) – Around 4:55 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, a fatal motorcycle crash took place at the intersection of FL-46 and Tammy Drive in Mims, Florida.

The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that a 28-year-old woman from Oviedo was headed westbound in a 2015 Honda Civic while the motorcyclist was traveling east.

The Oviedo woman tried to pass other traffic, which is when she headed into the other lane of traffic and struck the motorcyclist head-on.

The motorcyclist was identified only as a 50-year-old who was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Charges are pending against the Oviedo woman at this time. The investigation into the accident continues.
