Longwood, FL (April 24, 2020) – On Thursday afternoon, April 23, a fatal pedestrian accident took place at an intersection in Longwood, Florida.
The Longwood Police Department responded to the collision, where they found that a driver was headed in the eastbound lanes of FL-434 near the area of Palm Springs Drive. The driver struck the pedestrian, who was standing around the area of the driver’s trunk at 4:30 p.m.
According to police, the unidentified pedestrian passed away at the scene of the accident.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
