Lake Panasoffkee, FL (May 26, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident late Sunday evening claimed one woman’s life, according to police. At around 9:20 p.m., on May 24, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 75.
Reports show that a vehicle occupied by a 69-year-old female was in the northbound lanes of the highway, near mile marker 326, when it was rear-ended by a sedan.
The woman suffered fatal injuries in the collision and was declared deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
