Kissimmee, FL (November 3, 2020) – Around 5 p.m. on Monday, November 2, a fatal motorcycle accident took one life in Kissimmee.
According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of Poinciana Boulevard and Old Tampa Highway. An unidentified 41-year-old Orlando man was riding his motorcycle north on Poinciana when his motorcycle collided with a van making a left turn. The van turned directly in the path of the motorcycle.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the crash. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with severe injuries but later passed away from those injuries.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
