Pedestrian Accidents in Florida
More than 4600 people are killed in pedestrian accidents throughout the United States each year. Thousands of others harmed in these accidents suffer life-threatening injuries that force them into area hospitals for emergency medical treatment. Pedestrians are at a disadvantage against motor vehicles, which increases the likelihood of them receiving catastrophic injuries.
Pedestrians injured in crashes across Florida are often left with overwhelming pain and suffering. In some cases, victims endure broken bones, brain injuries, and various other traumatic injuries that require extensive medical treatment. Although there are a variety of treatment options for injured pedestrians, they are extremely costly. What is worse is that there is no promise of fully recovering. In many cases, victims are left with permanent disabilities from their accidents. When people are harmed in collisions as a result of distracted or reckless drivers, it is crucial that they contact a pedestrian accident attorney in Florida as soon as possible.
