Kissimmee, FL (July 18, 2020) – This morning, police responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries at an intersection in Kissimmee.

The accident, according to police, took place around 11 a.m. when two or more vehicles collided after entering into the intersection of US-192 and North Poinciana Boulevard. The vehicles involved were severely damaged due to the collision.

Emergency responders including fire crews and paramedics were present at the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. It is not known how many victims were injured in the accident but they were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police confirmed that debris was scattered all around the area and all eastbound lanes of traffic were blocked. Police urged those in the area to find an alternate route.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
