Eustis, FL (June 11, 2020) – Around 11:50 a.m. yesterday, June 10, a fatal dump truck accident took place at a Eustis intersection.
The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that the accident took place when a passenger vehicle and a dump truck forcefully collided at FL-44 and County Road 44A for reasons that are not yet known.
One person in the passenger vehicle, who has not yet been identified, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.
The roadway was blocked until 12:50 p.m. as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
