Dunedin, FL (April 16, 2020) – Around midnight last night, a fatal pedestrian accident took place on Edgewater Drive in Dunedin.
The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that a 43-year-old pedestrian was on the roadway when they were suddenly struck by an SUV in the area.
The vehicle dragged the victim and then came to a stop. It is believed that the driver stayed at the scene to cooperate with the police.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. They have not yet been identified.
Police continue their investigation into the collision.
