Deltona, FL (June 29, 2020) – Around 4 p.m. this afternoon, a car accident with injuries took place at a Deltona intersection.
According to authorities, the accident took place between a passenger vehicle and a patrol cruiser at the intersection of Howland Boulevard and Newmark Drive.
Though few details have been released regarding the accident, it is believed that the vehicles were both badly damaged and that injuries resulted from the collision. Injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation is currently ongoing.
