DeLand, FL (October 22, 2020) – On Tuesday, October 20, a man was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident that took place at an intersection in DeLand.

According to authorities, Josh Hillman was riding his black Suzuki motorcycle on North Amelia Avenue as a Pontiac was crossing at the intersection of East Church Street. For reasons that are not yet entirely known, the two vehicles collided with each other.

Paramedics confirmed that 25-year-old Josh Hillman was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the Pontiac, who has not yet been identified, was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries and is expected to be okay.

The roadway was closed down at the intersection for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
