Cocoa, FL (October 27, 2020) – On Sunday, October 25, a man was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident that took place in Cocoa.
According to Florida Highway Patrol officials, a 39-year-old male who was a passenger in a truck got out of the vehicle so that he could pick up road debris. He was in the eastbound lane of West King Street when he was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound.
The hospital, who has not yet been formally identified, was taken to a local hospital but was pronounced deceased.
The roadway was closed down in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
