Clermont, FL (October 6, 2020) – Around 2:46 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, October 6, a hit-and-run crash took place at an intersection in Clermont.
According to authorities, the collision took place at the intersection of Kensington Trail and Pointe East Trail. It is believed that one vehicle struck another and then immediately fled the scene of the crash. The accident led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. They assisted those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not yet known. Police have not said if they found the driver responsible for the accident at this time.
The intersection was blocked in the area for some time until the police were able to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
