Apopka, FL (August 5, 2020) – This afternoon at an unspecified time, a car crash with injuries took place in Apopka.
According to local authorities, the crash happened when two vehicles entered the intersection at Semoran Boulevard and Thompson Road at the same time. The vehicles collided, leading to extensive damages in both.
Numerous emergency responders were present at the scene of the collision including fire crews and paramedics. They assisted those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not yet known. It is believed that one or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries caused by the collision.
Both drivers remained at the scene. It took police less than an hour to clear the intersection until traffic resumed as normal.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
