Altamonte Springs, FL (November 6, 2020) – Around 10 p.m. last night, November 5, a hit-and-run crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Altamonte Springs.

According to authorities, the collision took place at the intersection of Trailwood Drive and Balsa Drive when two vehicles collided due to unknown reasons. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident and it is not known if police were able to find the suspect.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to help at the scene of the accident. They assisted one or more victims with injuries. However, the extent of the injuries and the identities of the victims involved are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
