Sanford, FL – Hit-and-Run Crash at FL-46 and International Pkwy

Sanford, FL (July 26, 2020) – This afternoon, a hit-and-run crash took place at an intersection in Sanford that led to injuries.

According to police, the accident happened just before noon at the intersection of FL-46 and International Parkway when two vehicles collided with one another. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene after the accident. Police did not confirm whether or not they caught the responsible party.

Numerous responders including fire crews and paramedics were present at the scene of the collision. They assisted those with injuries, though the conditions of the victims are not yet known. One or more parties were hospitalized as a result of the accident.

The roadway was blocked in the area for just a short period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
