Orlando, FL – Seven Injured in Car Crash at Colonial Rd and Hiawassee Rd

Orlando, FL (July 3, 2020) – Overnight, a serious car crash took place at an intersection in Orlando that led to injuries in seven patients.

The accident, according to Orange County officials and the Florida Highway Patrol, took place when four vehicles collided at the intersection of Colonial Road and Hiawassee Road.

Police did not comment on the circumstances leading up to the accident but said that emergency responders were present at the scene of the accident. Seven patients total were injured due to the accident, with one victim trapped inside their vehicle until fire crews were able to free them.

Four patients were taken to the hospital with serious injuries and one was hospitalized with minor injuries. Two people refused to be taken to the hospital and were treated at the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
