Bicycle Accidents in Florida

Orlando, FL – Serious Bicycle Accident at E Colonial Dr and 3rd StFlorida has seen more bicycle accidents in one year’s time than almost every other state in the U.S. Because more and more people are hitting the roads on bicycles, especially when the weather is nice, these accidents are more likely to occur every year. Between 2007 and 2011, statistics showed us the unfortunate reality that approximately 500 people were killed in these horrific accidents due to the negligence of others. Many others were hospitalized with serious injuries, as bicyclists have few protections from harm when an accident occurs, especially when it involves a motor vehicle. If you have suffered the aftermath of a bicycle accident, it is essential that you act quickly and speak with an attorney to protect your rights.

Motorists who utilize our roads in Florida should be well aware of the fact that bicyclists are so easily injured in the event of an accident. Because these accidents and significant, life-altering injuries caused by them are on the rise, drivers must take extra precautions to ensure that they do not become involved in an accident that can quickly take the life of a cyclist. However, even when precautions are taken and drivers closely watch the roads around them, this does not always mean that all of these accidents will be prevented. Being injured in an accident can have a huge and lasting impact on every aspect of your life, which is why the victim of a bicycle accident should always be prepared to speak with a Florida personal injury attorney immediately.
