Orlando, FL (September 19, 2020) – Around 9:52 a.m. on Saturday morning, September 19, a hit-and-run accident took place at an intersection in Orlando that led to injuries.
The accident, according to police, took place at the intersection of FL-535 and Meadow Creek Drive when two vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. One of the involved vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident without stopping or calling the police. The vehicle that remained at the scene was badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. The injured parties were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Police did not say if they caught up to the vehicle responsible for the accident.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
