Orlando, FL (April 3, 2020) – Around 5 a.m. Wednesday morning, one person was killed in a fatal accident at the intersection of Valencia College Lane and Mendham Boulevard in Orlando.
The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that the collision took place when a 38-year old man from Orlando was driving his 1997 Ford pickup truck near the intersection. Suddenly, a pedestrian walked into his path. The driver had to swerve out of the way, which is when the truck struck a 2004 Chrysler SUV head-on.
The drivers of both vehicles suffered from minor injuries. A passenger in the SUV, identified as 36-year-old Courtney Bradley, was taken to Orlando Health but tragically passed away. The pedestrian was not injured.
Police continue their investigation into the accident.
We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim at this time. Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
