Belle Isle, FL (November 22, 2020) – Around 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, a car accident took place at an intersection in Belle Isle.
According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of Hoffner Avenue and Conway Road when two vehicles collided with each other. Police have not yet commented on the circumstances leading up to the accident but have said that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment, though the extent of the injuries is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
